Superintendents in the News

     Whether they're scheduling waterings, fertilizing, topdressing, seeding/sodding, draining, verti-cutting, communicating with golfers or overseeing routine maintenance, Superintendents may not be on the front lines of golf media.

     "Today's Superintendents are well-educated leaders who oversee the largest single investment of every golf facility- the golf course," said Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) Agronomist William "Bill" Anderson. "Superintendents are experts in agronomy, labor management, budgets, natural resources, irrigation technology and construction management- along with all aspects of the game of golf."
