Students Hands-On for PGA Tour

"Study after study has shown the value of hands-on learning, and there's no better place to get hands-on in the golf industry than the PGA Tour," said John McMurry, vice president of Keiser University College of Golf. As part of their course work for a degree in Golf Management, fifty students assisted with tournament operations and caddied for amateur players during the Honda Classic Pro-Am event at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The college course-work aims at providing students with the ability to provide golf instruction, manage golf course operations, ensure proper maintenance of golf facilities and equipment and incorporate golf into the broader hospitality and recreation field.
