Sheboygan, WI., Getting New Course

     Kohler Co. has the go-ahead to build a golf course in the Town of Wilson, Wisconsin. According to studies conducted by an independent company, the course will be an economic benefit to the area, employing 168 workers and generating more than $1.1 million annually in tax revenue. Banking on an influx of golf-centered tourism, the study also expects that course will fill about 22,000 hotel rooms a year, with visitors spending $6.5 million yearly on lodging, food, beverages and retail goods.
